One a day 17
I get the feeling that a bunch of soldiers in chain mail should be scaling this building while hot oil rains down on them.

One a day 8
This is from July 09 from Bulo Point on the East side of the cascades. Sunset highlights the turning point from forests to grassland.

One a day
I've decided to do a one-a-day feature of my photos. I will either edit an older picture or take a new picture and upload it. I plan to do this for a full year.
This picture is one I did yesterday, the official start date of this project (August 23, 2012). The title of this picture is "Harrrr!"

Bahrain: Where Democracy Meets the Stick
This is incredibly awful. I give my heart to these people. In no way is it okay for the authorities to kill innocent, peaceful protesters. This regime must fall. I don't care about US interests. Move the 5th fleet if need be. We cannot be an Imperialist nation.

Egypt
If you've seen my tweets as of late, then you know that I am heartened by the revolution in Egypt. So pure. So just. My heart and my very existence goes out to them. Such a beautiful revolution! I have been watching YouTube clips tonight with the sound off and God Speed! You Black Emperor as the background music. So very inspiring. So very beautiful.

Interesting Marketing Campaign
I received this email from Tozmoz. They are like a
Groupon-type company. I haven't used them (nor Groupon) yet, but like to receive their deals. Here is the email:

Egypt
What has transpired in Egypt has inspired me. The only thing I have to compare it with was when the U.S. attacked Iraq. The day that, "Shock and Awe," commenced, thousands of us flooded the streets in Portland to protest.
Revolution burned in our hearts that night. I imagine it was only a fraction of what burned in the hearts of Egyptians...

Idea for Sony and Google
If Sony could form a partnership with Google to enable video calling on the PS3, then that would enable users to video call anyone they wanted to across platforms (laptops, desktops, Android, iPhone, etc...).

Cyan Redesign
In the next few days, I will be posting some pictures of the renovation that they Cyan has recently conducted. No one really knows why such a new bldg decided to do a renovation. It used to have a clean, modern design, but now I don't know what to call it.
